DECAPENTENNIAL (15TH)
ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Your PCYC is celebrating its 15th anniversary all throughout 2004. The actual anniversary date is May 14, but the entire year has been declared our anniversary year, kicked off by an appearance on local radio and in print media. Other ideas to honor the founding have been discussed.

A couple of ideas were mentioned at a recent club meeting. A belt sander race has been considered for some time, and has been proposed as an anniversary event. We no doubt will revive the planning of the annual Fall Poker Run from Rucker to McBaine. It has been planned every year since our founding.

Membership is another focus for the year. Should we set a number goal (presently somewhat past 560) or try to cover all 50 states (presently somewhat past 35) during the year. We have 10 foreign nations and a U.S. possession, but probably won't try to conquer the entire world, at least until the 25th anniversary.
